Job Loss |
 |
Losing your job can be one of the most stressful trials you’ll ever face. It ranks high among life’s most traumatic, life-altering events, such as death, divorce and major illness.
Emotional well being is commonly and profoundly affected by job loss. Some people classify themselves by what they do for a living, so losing a job can feel like losing an identity. Others will begin a downward spiral of depression, diminished physical health, reduced emotional functioning, and weakened self-control.
